Operating a small business in today’s environment is a daunting task.
There’s so much that we need to learn that, at times, is can seems overwhelming.
We do the best we can, but it feels like there’s always something new to try, read, or listen to.
The incoming information never seems to stop.
Maybe the problem’s not the endless tide of data (although that can be a problem in and of itself), but the fact that we waste so much of our precious time on things that don’t really matter.
All too often, we find ourselves focusing on the easy things, and doing so is a really effective way to hide from the difficult, important things that we should really be addressing.
Maybe what we need a little less schlock and a lot more traction.
