Reviews are the lifeblood of almost any modern business. Good reviews help; bad ones hurt. Factor in the unfortunate reality that dissatisfied customers are much more likely to leave a bad review, and a business owner’s got to be aware of how happy they’re making their customers.

Online reviews become part of our permanent record and follow us, for better or for worse, for a long, long time.

    I use spectora as my software. This software has a easy way to leave a review however it is harder to find the reviews when searching my company. I also use Google business which I add a link in my 3 days post inspection email. The problem is I just don’t get much action to my Google business for reviews. What is a method you would use to get more reviews?

      Thanks for the comment, and yes, this is always a sticking point for any business owner looking to grow their reviews. The reality is that it’s difficult to get clients to leave reviews. Angry clients are much more likely to leave reviews than the average customer. Conversely, customers that are impressed by our service are also likely to leave us a review. The question then becomes what do we have to do to make sure that we’re producing ecstatic customers. I firmly believe that happy clients are the result of good inspectors that consistently exceed their clients expectations. And making it ridiculously simple for them to leave a review doesn’t hurt either!
      IMO, Google reviews are the only thing that matters. I do not use any other review options for my business. Period. Also, making sure you are regularly adding content to your Google My Business profile helps too.
