At a Loss

We often spend an inordinate amount of time fussing over the smallest of decisions: how our logo looks, what our company colors will be, or how we’ll sign our email messages.

But, when it comes to the big decisions, we’re often at a loss.

We feel so uninformed, so inept, so unprepared to choose what to do that we simply go with whatever option seems to be the easiest.

Or worse, we do nothing.

Making simple, little choices can fool us into believing that we’re the one that’s in control, while having to make important ones can leave us feeling helpless.

Who knows, maybe if we can find the strength to make that one big decision, all those little ones will fall right into place.
