I’ll get to it tomorrow.
Most of us are notorious for putting things off. It’s easier, we reason, to finish what’s at hand and worry about that other stuff later.
Problem is, we never have time for “later.”
We believe (for better or worse) that we’ve always got more than enough stuff on our plate to keep us occupied.
I’ll get to it tomorrow.
But tomorrow never comes.
Then we start to worry about all the things we’ve put off, and that’s when it happens: stress. The last thing we need in our lives is more stress.
If it’s important enough for us to add it to our to-do list, it’s probably important enough to stop what we’re doing for a moment and get it done.
Then we’ll have tomorrow available (to worry about something else.)
