Grabbing the Bull vs. Being Full of Bull

We’re all wondering how we can be more involved. How can we write the rules? How can we affect change? How can we be the one they turn to? How can we increase our standing? How can we be more valuable to everyone else in our industry?

Well, things rarely happen just because we want them to. Sitting back and waiting for lady luck to drop a nicely wrapped package, filled with everything we’ve ever wanted, in our laps probably isn’t going to happen.

If we want to be the impetus for change, we’ve got to grab the bull by the horns and steer it in the direction we think it should be going. Be the one who calls the meeting, organizes the event, or starts the movement, instead of waiting around for someone else to lead the band.
