Things don’t always go as planned. Even though we try and try, we’re quite often left with disappointment.
But I worked so hard on that. It should have worked. It’s not fair.
No, it’s not fair. It never is. Life sucks sometimes.
Sometimes hard work isn’t rewarded. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. Sometimes we end up getting screwed.
That’s just the way it goes.
But, that doesn’t mean we should stop trying.
If we expect, plan, and settle for mediocrity, then yes, the odds are that things are always going to work out exactly like we thought they would. Average stuff for average people.
But is that any way to run a business? Or, even worse, any way to run our lives?
Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.
