Really, a Thousand?

When we start our business, we all make the same mistake.

We try to get as many customers through the door as possible. No matter what we do for a living, we think we need to sell our product to everyone. The more clients I get, the better off I’ll be!

This often proves to be our undoing.

We don’t need a million clients who just tolerate us. We just need a thousand who love us, and the rest will take care of itself.

We’ve got to create a product that some people will go crazy for. If we try to create something that everyone will like, we’ll end up with something that no one will love.
