Sometimes it’s hard to do the right thing, and it doesn’t help that everyone seems to have their own version of what’s right.
How do we know if we’re on sound footing with our “right” or if we’re simply looking out for our own “rights”?
If it’s something that feels good, that’s acceptable to everyone involved, that (from our own standpoint) may not be the most prudent thing to do in the moment (but we know it’s the principled thing to do), then we’re probably in the right.
If it’s something we probably wouldn’t do if everyone involved knew exactly what type of scheme we were hatching, then it’s probably not “right”, it’s most likely just right now.
