Online CE Class Information – Roofing

Roofing v1.0

Thanks for your interest in this 9-hour online CE class covering the roofing systems. In this class we will cover the basics of a home’s roofing systems. Next to HVAC issues, roofing problems are some of the most common complaints that home inspectors receive. Nothing makes a client angrier than seeing water dripping through their ceiling and into their new home! Having a working knowledge of roofing systems and how to inspect them can go a long way in keeping out clients happy (and dry!)

Please note that this course was developed and produced by Kaplan Professional, and is also taught as part of the Systems and Standards home inspection pre-licensing 100-hour course. This course was not created by Joe Cook of the American Inspection Academy (AIA), but is being made available to you by the AIA for the purpose of continuing education. This course covers the basic elements of roofing systems that every professional home inspector should be familiar with.
