One of the best ways to achieve success in an industry is to be unique. When we’re different from all the rest of the options, then we stand out.
Take Chick-Fil-A, for example. When everyone else was schlepping burgers, they did something different, and it worked for them.
If we do something that makes us exceptional, especially when compared to all the other cookie-cutter options out there, we can increase our chances of success.
But we can’t just be different. We’ve also got to be out there with the rest of them. Being unique isn’t enough; we’ve got to be visible along side our competition, right in our customer’s face.
Being different is great. Sitting alone in the dark being different and waiting for people to find us is a recipe for disaster.
