Am I the Only One?

It’s easy to believe that we’re the only one.

The only one who’s struggling.

The only one who’s not sure they made the right decision.

The only one who’s not feeling it today.

The only one who’s doubting their abilities.

The only one who thinks they’re in over their head.

It’s easy to get stuck in this mindset, especially if all our time is spent focused solely on ourselves and our problems, to the exclusion of everyone else.

If we take a second to stop and look around, and maybe even get out of our own head long enough to talk to someone else, it’s likely that we’ll come to an amazing realization: we all have doubts, all the time. Those that figure out a way to work through the doubts are the ones who eventually find success.

The greater the artist, the greater the doubt.
