Far too often, a new business owner jumps the gun, trying to get buy-in from their clients before they’ve earned the right.
People typically choose to do business with brands they know and trust, not simply because someone shoves a product in their face and asks for the sale.
If we’re operating in a client-centric business (and who isn’t?) then it pays to do our homework, building trust, and earning respect from our client base before we try to earn their business.
There’s really no other way.
