Too many small business owners can’t make the jump.
They get stuck in the “it’s my business” mindset.
Even though they’re growing, expanding, and hiring new employees, they just can’t make the shift.
They keep doing the same work that got them where they are now.
They’re answering the phones, they’re sending the emails, they’re cooking the meals, cleaning the floors, and washing the dishes.
And while they’re doing all the work, there’s something vitally important that’s not getting done, and that’s doing the things that are going to grow the business into one where they won’t have to wash the dishes anymore.
It’s impossible to grow your business if you’re stuck doing the work.
As Michael Gerber says in his book The E-Myth Revisited “If you want to work in a business, get a job in somebody else’s!”
