Frustrated With the Mirror

We have many problems in this life, but one of the worst is the frustration that comes from things are outside of our control.

Some of us get that we can’t control these things, and some of us don’t, but that doesn’t mean that we still don’t get frustrated. We’re all guilty, at one time or another, of blowing the horn while stuck in morning traffic. It doesn’t accomplish much, but we still do it anyway.

We waste lots of precious time worrying about things that are outside of our control. For some of us, these squandered moments consume us, causing harmful stress and anxiety that threatens to take over our lives.

Instead of wasting our time, what if we spent more time working on those things that are under our control?

We can blow the horn in morning traffic, but what if we just went to bed a bit earlier so that we can leave the house in the morning before traffic gets that bad?

We love to deflect blame onto other things in our life, but all too often, our biggest problem is looking right back at us in the mirror each morning.
