Follow the Path

It’s always wonderful when things turn out exactly the way we expected. Get in, get out, done, finished, another job well done!

But that’s hardly the norm, is it?

Usually, we’re trying to figure out where it all went wrong. What did we do that landed us in our current situation: aggravated, frustrated, and tired?

I know it sounds crazy, but we should be happy when things take a turn for the worse.

Thinking back, it’s likely that the most important lessons we’ve ever learned were born from problem situations. We don’t learn too many new things when we’re cruising along in comfort. It’s when it hits the fan that our mind starts racing, working overtime to figure out what best to do to make things right.

We should be glad that we have problems (even if they really suck in the moment)!

Learning from mistakes: the path to getting better.

…Come to wisdom through failure. We get very little wisdom from success.
