Too many times we tell ourselves that we’ll get to it later.
We throw together something quickly just to get it out the door, with the idea that we’ll make things right once we’ve got a bit more time.
But we’re just kidding ourselves, aren’t we?
We’re going to keep operating from that same jacked up program, using the same workarounds to make those forms work, copy and pasting the same comments over and over again, telling ourselves that we’ll eventually get it working properly.
As the great basketball coach John Wooden once said, “If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it again?”
Make it work never trumps doing it right the first time.
