If your business is anything like mine, there are days when you wish people would just go away. Sometimes, dealing with problem customers can be a bit overwhelming!
But, it’s important to remember that a problem customer is still, at the most basic level, a customer.
And that means we’ve got to listen.
More often than not, when someone feels like they’re having a problem, they’re not looking for a solution, they’re just looking for someone to listen to them.
Many times, by merely listening to a client when they believe that something’s gone wrong, things seem to work themselves out.
Yes, sometimes there really is a problem that we’re going to have to work hard to figure out.
But, lots of times, a sympathetic ear is all they’re looking for.
