It’s often said that competition drives innovation.
What would happen to our business if we decided to skip the competition and just go directly to innovating?
We’d be able to set our own price without worrying what other people are charging.
We’d be able to attract the exact type of client that we want.
We’d be setting the bar instead of trying to prove the ways in which we measure up.
We’d be the one that everyone else is trying to emulate.
We’d own a brand new marketplace, and have much less competition that we do now.
“Choose me; I’m better than them” would no longer be part of our marketing strategy.
“Choose me, because no one else is doing what I do” sounds like a much easier sell.
