As new business owners, we can’t help ourselves; we’re always trying to find out the secret to becoming successful. Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of opportunists who are happy to sell us those secrets, for a price.
Over and over, we keep falling for their sales pitch. We’re hopelessly optimistic, praying that there really is one secret, that, once we know what it is, will lead us to the promised land.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there really is no trick, no magic bullet that will miraculously turn our struggling business into a massive profit center.
Hard work, persistence, opportunity, and a little bit of luck are still the key to achieving our goals.
If there really was just one simple step to becoming successful, don’t you think those so-called experts would be using it themselves…
