If It Wasn’t For Bad Luck

We all love to tell stories of our bad luck. There’s an attraction to letting everyone know when we’ve been wronged by fate; when we felt we were on the receiving end of a bad beat. Misery loves company, and it’s an easy thing to share our misery with others.

Somehow, we feel a little better knowing that we’re not the only ones getting kicked when we’re down.

The hard part comes in when, instead of simply telling our stories of adversity, we decide to use those experiences to learn, to grow, and to mold ourselves for a more promising future.
