We used to call someone smart if they were well versed in their industry, but now, everyone has all the information they need in the palm of their hand.
We used to look up to people who could answer our every question, but now, the answer we’re looking for is just a few clicks away.
We used to revere those who were able to rally others to their cause, but now, we’ve all got a massive group of people at our beckon call (or click, really).
So, with all this information and access right here, who do we really need?
What we really need is someone who’s not afraid to call attention to the issues, to ask the pertinent questions, and to persist until something gets done.
What we really need is you.
I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.
