It’s really difficult to make it in this world.
Now when I say “make it” I don’t mean becoming world famous, I simply mean being successful. Earning a living, supporting yourself, and taking care of your family and your business. That kind of making it.
All too often we start out with an idea on how we’re going to make it, and then one of two things happen: we either rigidly adhere to the original plan, being too inflexible to make needed changes, or we shift too much, changing tactics every time the wind blows, never staying the course long enough to know where we’re heading.
Somewhere in the middle of these two extremes lies the key to our success.
Knowing when it’s beneficial to adjust our trajectory, but having the insight to know when pressing on is the right course of action.
It’s an important skill to have, and one that can be learned.
With a little effort.
